Gruner AG from Wehingen – our partner from the very beginning
IT-AT GmbH’s service portfolio, together with its existing industry expertise and network of contacts, convinced the renowned Gruner AG from Wehingen to invest in the start-up in April 2020.
“In the past, we were often asked to move more towards system integration,” says Dr Wolfgang Spreitzer, Managing Director of Gruner AG. “However, we decided against this approach and are very confident that, through our partnership with IT-AT, we can now successfully enter the system integration market segment.”
GRUNER AG, based in Wehingen, Baden-Württemberg, was founded in 1953 by Wolfgang Gruner and has since developed into the global market leader for polarised bistable switching relays ranging from 8 to 200 amperes. The company’s product portfolio also includes customised solenoids for the automotive, air-conditioning, mechatronics and IT sectors, as well as actuators for building management. GRUNER AG possesses highly specialised expertise in these fields, as well as many years’ experience in simultaneous engineering, and is certified to IATF 16949:2016 and EMAS. Research and development, 3D design, toolmaking, testing and manufacturing are all carried out in-house.
